Each Mission is a structured learning programme, focused on a specific primary need, selected by the commissioner at the point of referral.

Missions typically run for 6–12 weeks and follow a graduated learning model, allowing learners to move from supported engagement to increasing independence.
Where appropriate, learners can achieve AQA Unit Awards, recognising progress in areas such as teamwork, communication, project completion, and independent learning.
Academy XP delivers live, two-hour online sessions to small groups of learners. Sessions are highly structured, predictable, and trauma-informed, ensuring learners feel safe, regulated, and able to participate. All Academy XP missions are explicitly mapped to EHCP outcomes or Education Plan targets. Each Mission concludes with a Mission Outcome Summary, supporting schools and LAs with statutory reporting and decision-making. Progress is evidenced through:
