Enrolment process

Enrolment Process

A simple guide for parents and guardians on their childs enrolment at Academy XP.

Step 1
Initial Enquiry

Academy XP is contacted by the commissioner (the local authority or 'home' school). We're provided with basic information about your child’s needs, previous schooling, and any specific requirements.

Step 2
Eligibility & Referral Review

Our team reviews the child’s EHCP (if applicable), learning needs, and referral information to ensure Academy XP can provide the right support.

Step 3
Consultation Meeting

We schedule a meeting with you and the learner (online or in-person). This allows us to understand needs, explain the Academy XP approach, and outline potential mission programmes.

Step 4
Tailored Mission Proposal

Academy XP prepares a mission plan tailored to your child’s needs, including recommended duration, platforms, and expected outcomes. You review the plan and provide consent.

Step 5
Enrolment Confirmation

Once consent and any required documents are received, your child is formally enrolled, and you will receive a welcome pack including timetable, access instructions, and support contacts.

Step 6
First Mission Session

Your child begins their first mission. Our distance learning mentors provide orientation, explain platforms, and begin structured learning. Parents are encouraged to stay informed through updates and reflective reports.
