Referring a Learner

A clear, structured pathway for schools, local authorities, and commissioning partners.

Academy XP supports:

  • KS3 and KS4 learners at risk of exclusion
  • Learners with SEMH needs
  • Learners requiring short-term intervention
  • Learners awaiting specialist placement
  • Learners struggling with engagement in mainstream settings

Learner entry criteria:

  • Be able to access online provision safely
  • Have access to a suitable device and internet connection
  • Be supported by a commissioning school or local authority
  • Have safeguarding chronology shared prior to enrolment

All referrals are reviewed individually to ensure suitability and safeguarding alignment.
